This is my prevention section, I hope that this page can be of help to you. I'm sure most people by now, know something about HIV, or know someone who is living with it. It no longer is a death sentence. Today it is a manageable disease. Just as long as you take your medications as prescribed by your doctor.
HIV virus attacks the immune system, making it easier for a person to get sick and to stay sick longer. HIv can turn into AIDS if it goes on untreated. If you think you've been exposed to HIV I suggest that you go and get tested. Testing is anonymous at most free clinics or your local HIV/AIDS Foundation.
